In this article,"Big-Bellied, Text-Messaging Trash Cans? by ny times reporter laura shin" . She Talked about this new invention of the garbage cans, it compresses garbage by the power of the sun and has a text message feuture that allows to text the garbage companies to come and pick up the garbage whe its full. This can cost over " $3,000 a pop" , it also says that it holds like about 180 gallons of trashed. I say this is great for our community if we had it because like that ill be less pollution and less garbage in the bronx and new york. I think we should think more about our community. this wil benifit our country because it saves money since we are in this economic crisis and if it helped this state almost saved them 14,000 a year imagined this for ny or the bronx.

This article “A late rush to clean up at the new Yankee stadium” by Mathew R. Warren. Is about how quick people cleaned the perimeter of the new stadium and the neighborhood within the stadium hours before the exhibition Yankees v.s Chicago cubs. The custodians inside the stadium made the last finishing touches to make the stadium look good, the park workers cleaned the parks, in overall the garbage cleaners clean the whole neighborhood. The reaction to the people around the area are surprise of all this changes some of them are good reaction others think is the Bronx is going to be the same after this game is done. http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/04/02/massive-cleanup-before-new-stadium-opens/?scp=1&sq=new%20yankee%20stadium%20trash&st=cse.

My comment for this is that I think is stupid to clean up because the Yankees are going to play. Not only on the neighborhood the workers should clean, and all this should not only happen ones a day it should happen everyday in every part of the world. So people don’t get to excited because I bet you the if you go to the new stadium today you’ll se dirty why because the Yankees already played.

Economy bad, makes NYC dirtier

http://www.metro.us/us/article/2009/03/25/03/3725-82/index.xml Budget cuts means that MTA employees lose their job "The cuts may provide a dirtier ride, claiming 86 track cleaners and 134 bus maintainers." If no one is cleaning the tracks and the buses, new york may become even dirtier.
